Tiny Tots Camp (Ages 2–6)

Give your little cowboy or cowgirl an unforgettable summer experience at Stark Ranch. Our Tiny Tots Summer Camp is designed specifically for children ages 4 to 6 and provides a fun, safe, and hands on introduction to horses and ranch life.

Camp meets Monday through Thursday for two hours each day and is packed with activities that keep young campers engaged while building confidence and comfort around horses. Campers will participate in guided riding activities, basic horse care, grooming, bathing horses, simple ranch chores, and age appropriate horsemanship lessons.

Along the way, they will learn horse safety, how to properly interact with horses, and the responsibilities that come with caring for these amazing animals.

In addition to horse related activities, campers will enjoy fun games, ranch themed activities, and bounce house play, creating a well rounded experience filled with learning, adventure, and plenty of smiles.

This camp is designed to build foundational relationships with horses and introduce children to the basics of horsemanship in a positive and supportive environment. Our goal is not to create advanced riders, but to help young children develop confidence, learn responsibility, and discover a lifelong appreciation for horses and ranch life.

Whether your child dreams of becoming a rider or simply loves animals and being outdoors, Tiny Tots Summer Camp offers the perfect introduction to the world of horses.

Juniors Camp (Age 7+)

The Stark Ranch Juniors Summer Camp is designed for young riders who are ready to move beyond simple horse exposure and begin developing the foundational skills needed for continued equestrian education.

Meeting Monday through Thursday for four hours each day, this immersive camp provides hands on experience with horses, horsemanship, and ranch life in a structured and supportive environment.

Campers participate in arena riding sessions focused on developing balance, control, confidence, and basic riding skills while learning proper safety practices around horses. Students gain valuable experience with grooming, bathing, horse care, tack and equipment identification, and the daily responsibilities involved in caring for horses. Ranch chores and hands on learning activities help campers understand the work, responsibility, and dedication that are part of the equestrian lifestyle.

Throughout the week, participants are introduced to the fundamentals of horsemanship, including horse handling, safety, basic riding concepts, and preparation before and after riding. The goal is to help students build confidence, develop good habits, and establish a strong foundation before progressing into private lessons or more advanced riding instruction.

To help campers stay cool during the summer months, the program also includes supervised water slide time and outdoor recreation throughout the week.

Juniors Summer Camp is ideal for children who have an interest in horses and want a deeper understanding of riding, horse care, and ranch life while preparing for the next step in their equestrian journey.
