Juniors Program (Ages 7 and Up)

Our Juniors Program is a six session introductory horsemanship program designed for riders ready to move beyond first exposure and begin building foundational riding skills. Each one hour session focuses on confidence, safety, and developing a strong understanding of horsemanship in a supportive environment.

Participants begin learning essential riding fundamentals including balance, control, stopping, turning, steering, mounting, dismounting, and proper positioning in the saddle. Students are introduced to the skills and preparation that take place before riding while developing comfort and confidence around horses.

Riders gain hands on experience with grooming, horse care, safety practices, saddle and tack identification, tack preparation, and introductory saddling concepts. Students learn how to safely work around large animals while developing patience, responsibility, and respect for horses.

The Juniors Program is designed as an introduction and foundation program to help prepare riders for beginning private lessons and continued riding instruction. This is not intended to create advanced riders, but instead provides the safety knowledge, horse care fundamentals, and riding basics needed before progressing into regular lessons.

Perfect for first time riders and young horse enthusiasts ready to take the next step in their equestrian journey, the Juniors Program builds a strong foundation while helping students develop confidence and a lifelong appreciation for horses and ranch life.
